  1. Please describe a classroom or area of the Centre that you particularly like and say why
  • Lounge, sit and talk
  • ICT – I enjoy working on computers and ICT lessons
  • Kitchen – Making cups of tea!
  • The workshop because it’s really nice
  • Downstairs in the sitting area
  • I don’t like any of them, they are all a distraction
  • Social area so I can play pool
  • Cooking room because I can make food
  • Construction room because I am learning new skills and using new tools
  • Kitchen – Nice environment, Visiting Alison & Kim in the office, Talking to Ian
  • Social area as you have a chance to speak to friends
  • The social area because it’s fun
  • Construction room because its quieter (not too many students)
  • Salon because it where all the good stuff is
  • Catering because it’s chilled out and I get to learn how to cook for myself
  1. What do you like best about the Centre
  • Mary’s Sarnies
  • Everything
  • Learning
  • The teachers
  • You get to come in for 1.5 hours
  • Nothing
  • The teachers are more strict. They are very helpful and give good advice.
  • Everything really, the school day goes really quickly
  • The kitchen and pool table
  • Going on PE
  • Catering Lessons
  • My friends
  • Not too many people
  • Everything, better than mainstream school
  • It’s a good environment to be in. The hours are good as full time hours didn’t work for me
  1. What could the Centre do to improve?
  • More members of staff
  • Have more classes and be more hard on the work. Some students need to be taught some manners because I don’t like coming to school and seeing people being disrespectful to others
  • Longer breaks
  • More things to do at break
  • I originally wanted to be in hair, I hate catering because I don’t enjoy cooking
  • Sandwiches – would prefer rolls, cheese spread and cucumber
  • Allow us to smoke
