Every student at NHESC has a named tutor, someone who takes a special interest in them. Looking at how well they are progressing, spending 1-1 time with the student and making sure the student has their needs met. The tutor is the first point of contact for parents and carers. Parents and carers can expect phone calls from the tutor, sharing the good news but also to address any issues. The tutor will work closely with outside agencies this includes attending meetings, CAFs, TACs, PEP reviews, and Social Services meetings, where appropriate.
